I wanted to start this meet up group for people with Fibromyalgia. The Atlanta area does not provide many ways for us to get together and support each other. My goal in creating this group is to form a community that supports, uplifts and empowers people of all ages and beliefs to overcome the emotional and lifestyle affects of autoimmune illnesses. Through communing I believe we can share treatments we have found affective or ineffective as well as reinforcing and supporting each other through changes. In addition, spouses are welcome to gain insight into the reality of chronic pain and learn coping skills to reinforce relationships.
